    UWALS invites you to a Cream Tea with Ian Clayton. Yorkshire born Ian Clayton has been a jobbing writer, storyteller and broadcaster for over 30 years. He has written three memoirs: Song For My Father, Bringing It All Back Home and Our Billie. Ian believes in the power of story to being people together and he is a consummate raconteur. Welcome

The village of Kettlewell and the hamlet of Starbotton form the parish of Kettlewell with Starbotton, centred around St Mary's Church in Kettlewell. The parish lies in beautiful Upper Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with its stunning limestone scenery. We are a thriving community and it is a delightful place to visit with plenty of places to eat, drink and stay.
