  • 31 July - 2 Aug: ROAD CLOSURE
    Conistone Road Kettlewell will be closed from 9.30am - 15.30pm on Tuesday 31st July, Wednesday 1st August and Thursday 2nd August. This is for surface dressing.
  • 27 - 28 July: BUCKDEN SINGERS SUMMER CONCERTS
    The concerts, 'From Classics to Contemporary' take place on Friday 27th July at Hubberholme and Saturday 28th July at St Margaret's, Threshfield. Both start at 7.30pm. Admission is £7 including light refreshments. Admission for children is free. Tickets are available from Stella Perrott on 01756 761320 or email tickets@buckden.org
  • 5 Aug 18: 2pm Kettlewell Village Hall
    Please join our workshop to help spruce up the village scarecrows. You can pick up helpful hints, spare parts and finishing touches for your own creations. If you have any 'jumble'clothes for the workshop, please leave them in the green Scarecrow bin at the back of the Village Hall.

  • 25 - 29 Aug 18: 11.00am-5.00pm daily. Buckden Art Exhibition, Buckden Village Institute
  • 02 Sep 18: 1.30 - 4pm Kettlewell & District Horticultural Annual Show will be held in Kettlewell Village Hall on Sunday, 2nd September from 1.30 - 4pm. Fruit, vegetables, flowers, plants, art (including photography), confectionery, preserves, homemade booze, flower arranging, handicrafts, eggs and children's sections. Surely something for everyone! Hard copies of schedules at Village Shop and Hostel Post Office.
  • 21 Sep 18: 7.30pm A Journey with Simon Armitage
    This is a rare opportunity to join Simon for an evening of readings from his prose and poetry on the theme of 'Journeys' in the intimate space of the Octagon, Grassington. Simon will also be happy to answer questions and sign books. The Grove Bookshop, Ilkley will be selling some of Simon's publications on the evening. TICKETS: £15.50/£17.50 UWALS members/non-members. Welcome

The village of Kettlewell and the hamlet of Starbotton form the parish of Kettlewell with Starbotton, centred around St Mary's Church in Kettlewell. The parish lies in beautiful Upper Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with its stunning limestone scenery.
